The project that bridges sound and typography through the study of design of an acoustic vocabulary layout

Following the traditional structure of a vocabulary layout, I introduced a conceptual method for generating the first letter of the term. I recorded my voice while pronouncing the letter and changing the tone in order to “draw” its shape through the waveform.

In the result the recording were divided by frames and refined to match the visual language of the layout. The waveforms bridge the auditory and visual worlds
